Schneider TM, al secolo Dirk Dresselhaus, è uno degli artisti più rispettati dell’ambito espressivo detto “indietronica”, dalla crasi tra indie ed electronica.
La sua musica coniuga uno spirito brillante e pop, che chiama in causa The Smiths, Neil Young e Fela Kuti, combinato ad una ricerca sonora singolare ed appassionante, spaziando tra sonorità elettroniche ed acustiche, miscelando in una proposta palpitante ambiti espressivi solo in apparenza lontani tra loro. La sua vicenda con il marchio Schneider TM è iniziata nel 1988 con il cd “Moist”, proseguita con il disco “Zoomer” fino al recente “Škoda Mluvit”; parallelamente Dresselhaus ha affrontato numerose collaborazioni e vari progetti. La singolare sintesi è il frutto di una ricerca che Schneider Tm realizza nel suo studio di registrazione, un’esplorazione sonora intensa ed appassionante che rinnova totalmente ed “elettronicamente” la forma della canzone pop.

His music hovers between a pop brilliant spirit - which reminds The Smiths, Neil Young and Fela Kuti – and a passionate and original sound research, which mixes electric and acoustic sounds. He melts in a vibrating proposal different kinds of music which are only appearing to be distant.
The experience with the Schneider TM trademark started in 1988 with the “Moist” CD, followed by “Zoomer” up to the nearest “Škoda Mluvit”. In the same time Dresselhaus faced much collaboration and various projects. The unique fusion is the result of a research that Schneider Tm leads in his recording studio, an intense and passionate sound research which renews completely and “elettronically” the shape of pop songs.
